Flourtown Fire Company Assists Historic Springfield Mills – Morris Arboretum

SONY DSCFlourtown’s Engine 6 stopped by at the historic (and recently restored) Springfield Mills located along the Wissahickon Creek on the Bloomfield Farm property of Morris Arboretum to clean out the mud and muck that has collected around the mills turbine. The mud had clog up the turbine due to recent heavy rains. Firefighters Greg Fasold and Craig Michelbacher pulled the 1.75″ hose line to blast the turbine.
