Flourtown Brings Home Trophies
On Saturday, September 25, 2010 – a group of members traveled the 2 hours to the Pa. State Convention Parade in Hanover Twp. (Wilkes Barre). Once there we found that Montgomery County was well represented. The companies from the county did very well in the trophy department, with Flourtown being no exception. We came home with:
1st Place – Most Functional Rescue – Pumper and 1st Place – Best Appearing Dalmatian
VICTORIOUS 4th of JULY
Flourtown came home very pleased from the annual Oreland 4th of July parade. We were able to overcome the competition and bring home four trophy’s.

“Warriors Watch” & FFCo Welcome Home Vet to Flourtown
Flourtown Fire Company was honored to help welcome home, SPC Andrew Trotto home from Iraq, along with bikers from Warriors’ Watch, Philadelphia Police Department, Springfield Police Department and hundreds of friends and family. SPC Trotto was welcomed home to his cousin’s home on W. Wissahickon Avenue in Flourtown. Independence Day Weekend, July 2009.
Flourtown Places 2nd in State in Light Rescue and Antique Apparatus in 2009
Flourtown Fire Company proudly placed 2nd for “Best Appearing Antique” & “Best Appearing Light Rescue” at the 2009 Fireman’s Association of the
State of Pennsylvania 2009 Convention & Parade. Held September 23-26, 2009 in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania.
