Today, Oreland Volunteer Fire Company, Flourtown and Wyndmoor Hose were dispatched to a house fire on Montgomery Avenue in the Oreland section of Springfield Township. Chief 700 arrived on scene with smoke showing. Engine 702 went in service with an 1 3/4” hoseline, Ladder 6 arrived and completed the primary search of the house and supplied Engine 702 with its tank water. Crews also assisted the Fire Marshals with their investigation.
