Great work by our friends over at Springfield Township Police Department

Today STPD Detectives arrested a 15 year-old juvenile resident of Carson Valley Children’s Aide in Flourtown for his role in 4 burglaries in the Township.

The first burglary was in March of 2019, when he forced entry into a window and attempted to steal electronics from an administration building on the CVCA campus. On 4/2/2019 around midnight, police and fire responded for a building fire at Carson Valley School and discovered a founded burglary in the Pines building where a fire was set inside an office. Also on 4/2/2019, an attempt was made to burglarize the BP gas station at 1680 Bethlehem Pike in Flourtown.

Finally on 4/3/2019 a second and successful burglary was made at the BP gas station. Investigation led to Carson Valley Children’s Aide where a suspect was taken into custody and witnesses were interviewed. The juvenile is being held at the Montgomery County Youth Center awaiting a detention hearing on three separate petitions. Charges include burglary, arson, risking a catastrophe, theft and receiving stolen property.
