Yesterday around 5:00 in the evening the Flourtown Fire Company, Wyndmoor Hose, and Oreland Volunteer Fire Company were dispatched for the report of a house on fire at 11. West Mill Road. Chief 6 arrived on scene and confirmed a working fire. The following pictures are from the helmet camera of the first in crew on Engine 6 who advanced a hose line in the front door to attempt to knock the fire and search for potential victims. A special thanks to the Barren Hill Fire Company, Fort Washington Fire Company No. 1, Wissahickon Fire Company, Edge Hill Fire Company, Springfield Township Police Department, Whitemarsh Ambulance, and Ambler EMS for their assistance on scene. There were no injuries to the homeowner or any firefighters on scene. More pictures and video to come.
