FFCo vs. Boy Scouts Water Battle – 2011

The Boy Scouts hold an annual week-long camp at Fort Washington State Park. As a way to celebrate the end of a long, hot week, the Boy Scouts hold a water battle and invite Flourtown Fire Company to add some “extra” water to the festivities. Using the deck gun on Engine 6, and supplemented by Squad 6, we make it rain for over 100 boy scouts and friends.

Flourtown Brings Home Trophies

On Saturday, September 25, 2010 – a group of members traveled the 2 hours to the Pa. State Convention Parade in Hanover Twp. (Wilkes Barre). Once there we found  that Montgomery County was well represented. The companies from the county did very well in the trophy department, with Flourtown being no exception. We came home with:

1st Place – Most Functional Rescue – Pumper and 1st Place – Best Appearing Dalmatian

New apparatus logos to celebrate the 100th Anniversary

The official logo for the Flourtown Fire Company’s 100th Anniversary now adorns the rear of Ladder 6, Engine 6 and Squad 6 to celebrate the Century of Service Flourtown has provided to the community.

Thanks go to Chief George Wilmot, III, Chief Engineer Dave Scott and President Tim Ernst for designing and working with Pierce and Charlie Mullin to have the logos applied to the rear slide-up door on each of the trucks.
